TESTIMONIALS
I would like to thank your organization for a beautiful and unforgettable trip to the rooftop of Africa. Although the summit attempt was quite tough all 3 of us made it and it is an experience we will never forget. We had a great team of guides, porters and an excellent "stomach engineer" who made this trip an absolute fantastic event.
Besides that the Safari tours that were organized by your organization before and after the climb were also very good and we will make sure that we will recommend your organization to everybody here in The Netherlands who is interested in climbing Kilimanjaro.
Thanks!!

On behalf of the whole crew, I would like to thank you for the excellent service we received in our trip to Kilimanjaro.
Our guide Joshua and group leader Deus were extremely professional and they definitely maximised the enjoyment of Climbing Kilimanjaro. We had a 100% success rate as we all reached the summit!
Thank you once again and please let Joshua and Deus know how much we enjoyed their professionalism and company.
Kind regards,
Pedro Araujo & the whole crew: 06 October 2007

My sincerest thanks to everyone at DAT that helped to make this dream a reality! My son and I sumitted at 7h30 on 4 April 2007. The arrangements made by DAT speaks of commitment, fluency and compassion - that was our experience! Not once, not even once, could we fault the arrangements made. As a matter of fact we were the envy of other climbers. Imagine getting to camp after a long and tiring day to find tents pitched, TABLE LAID, camp chairs out! I am damn sure that our fellow climbers believed that we paid megabucks to be treated like royalty!
Our team were the best! Guido, Emmanual and Franco (chef) rendered an outstanding service. If ever any person desires delicious soup prepared in the veldt, Franco is the man! We even had popcorn - popped to perfection!
Please convey my best wishes to everyone at DAT. You come highly recommended. We have had numerous opportunities to address various groups on our experience. We at all times underlined the important role a great team played in our success. DAT, Guido, Franco and Emmanuel were named as THE A TEAM!
My sincere regards to everyone at DAT. Words cannot describe how proud I am to be associated with you. You have contributed tremendously to our success. Thanks and thanks again!

Thanks once again to you all for the fantastic experience. I am sure we had the best team on the mountain. Everyone has been fantastic from the staff in South Africa to the last porter. I felt extremely privileged to have been part of your professional team.

As the "senior member" of the group and having done my first trip three years ago (Nardus Albert's group), I want to start by congratulating the team that you have selected for this trip - John and the other 33 men were absolutely brilliant. The food, accommodation, assistance during the climb and especially the summit night - John and the other guides carried our day packs to allow us a better chance to summit, were of the highest standards we could have expected.
What a wonderful surprise the "farewell cake" that the chef baked on the last day. The graduation ceremony was different and most enjoyable.
As you may know by now, 7 of us received certificated (2 for Stella and 5 for Uhuru) which pays a compliment to John and his team of assistant guides.
Thanks for a wonderful trip.

The trip was absolutely AMAZING!!! Our guide James, was excellent as was his assistant Prosper. They kept us going at a good pace, and we all made it to the top all thanks to them. They did an amazing job with acclimatizing us and also keeping us motivated. They gave us very good advice when needed it about everything from medical to physical. The cook, Rashid, on the mountain kept us healthy with lots of surprises that we didn't know we could get on the mountain. The porters were excellent, and very friendly with me, as I was the only one who could speak Kiswahili. In all it was an excellent trip and I have already recommended your company to a lot of my family and friends.
I would like to thank you very much for all your help, as you have been the best part out of this. You have been the most helpful, who have guided us through this process from the equipment we need to what kind of insurance to buy. Thank you very much for all your help.

I wanted to join my compliments to those of my colleague for your perfect organization of our holidays. The team, which dealt with us for this forwarding, was, under the direction of John Naiman, very professional and pleasant. Congratulations for all the team.
I would like to also express my thanks to Elisamehe Mbwambo, assistant guide of John who accompanied me with professionalism and support during the ascension until Stella point. In the future, I will recommend ClimbingKilimanjaro.com and John Naiman's team to anyone whishing to climb in Tanzania.

This is just a quick note to say thank you for an awesome trip to Kilimanjaro. The guides met at at Kilimanjaro International Airport and prove to be, friendly, courteous, knowledgeable and also a fine bunch of guys. Our two main guides were Deo and Harold, these two guys I hold in the highest esteem, nothing was too much trouble for them. When one of our guys was feeling ill from altitude, they woke him at midnight to check on him, and to offer him a hot water bottle. When the going got tough on summit night, they sang those beautiful Swahili songs to us. On our return to Barafu all of our porters were there to clap us in and to congratulate us. Our cook (Allesante) met us on the slopes with a tray of orange squash.
We truly had a memorable time made even more pleasant by your wonderful Tanzanian staff. Please pass on our best wishes to all of them.
Many thanks and best regards,

My son Nathan arranged our climb up Kiliamanjaro and our Tanzania Safari last month trough your company. I'm Nathan's father and I'm writing to say thank you for the wonderful experience that Nathan and I shared for the two weeks in Tanzania. Both events were very memorable, well organized, and excellent value for money. I know that we had a number of last-minute changes as we attempted to juggle my work schedule and our situation in country. I thank you for accommodating these changes and really working with us to make it finally happen. I especially want to say a word about the team (guides, porters, cook and all) that made our climb possible. Every one of them deserves a lot of praise of their professionalism and enthusiasm - and especially their dedication to our well being. I can't say enough positive things about Harold and Raymond (our two guides) but I will say this: getting to know each of them was as rewarding as the climb itself - and the climb was unforgettable for both me and Nathan.
I feel that we were very fortunate (given the potential randomness of the internet) to have discovered your services - and to have enjoyed the company and service of these specific individuals in the field.
Larry R. Smith: 01 July 2007

We all made it to the summit and had a great trip! Thank you very much for all your help with our trip organization! We were thoroughly impressed with our guide, Deo, and everyone we met. The entire trip was first class, and we would give the highest recommendations to anyone that is thinking about climbing Kili.
Thanks again for all your help.

It's been about a couple of weeks since Larry Cook and I returned from our Tanzanian adventure and I want to let you know that we could not have been more satisfied with your service. Our climb was simply fabulous. Jacob our lead guide, Martin, our assistant guide, and Joseph, our chef, couldn't have been better. These 3 guys really work like a team and organized and managed the porters, meals and all the climb logistics perfectly. They really embody what "teamwork" really means. They were exceptionally friendly, and looked out for our every stop to make sure we were safe and that all our needs were met. I also want to make a special mention of our chef, Joseph. These guys made 4-star meals throughout the entire trip! Larry and I couldn't believe what gourmet meals he would make from a single burner stove in a small mountain tent! The food was amazingly good...well beyond our expectations.
I send my most sincere appreciation and "job well done" to these 3 guys for making this "project" a complete success. I would certainly support and serve them extremely well. We simply could not be more pleased with our climb.

I made it to the top, it was the trip of a lifetime, and everything went very smoothly, thank you for all your help, I will recommend your company to any friend who is considering a trip to Africa. Thank you again!
Rory Murray: 23 March 2007

I had a great time. The guide (John) was superb. The porters were great. I made it to the top and all was right with the world. Thank you so much!
Ashleigh Emerick: 13 March 2007

The trip itself was amazing. The weather could have been better but our guide and his team took amazing care of us and we were able to summit in spite of the constant rain. Overall the trip was very well put together and everyone involved was amazing!
Keith Schneider: 09 March 2007

Firstly thank you for your utterly professional help and advice regarding our trip up Kilimanjaro. While nothing can completely prepare a relative novice like me for the mountain the info and advice you gave us plus the hire of equipment went a long way towards our preparation. As a biologist I was like a little kid opening proverbial xmas presents each day as I saw new plant and animal species "in person" in the context of the geology of the mountain. Really GREAT!!
Again my sincere thanks for facilitating a once in a lifetime experience (yes once in a lifetime is enough for me!) and I have already recommended your serviced to a friend who is contemplating Kili for next year sometime.
Regards,

I just wanted to let you know how impressed I was of the service and professionalism of your staff, especially the assistant guide Joshua, on my recent trip to Tanzania. I was able to make successful summits of both Mt. Meru and Mt. Kilimanjaro. I had no problems on Meru but found Kilimanjaro very tough. I began experiencing difficulty starting around 17,000ft. Through the careful coaching and quick action of your assistant guide, Joshua Rhuhimbi, I was able to recover and was the first to summit out of our group. Joshua was also our guide on Mt. Meru where he proved himself to me and so when trouble arose on Kilimanjaro I felt he was the one to turn to. He didn't let me down. When some of the others in my group ran into trouble both on the ascent and descent he was always there to coach them on. He actually stayed behind with one gentlemen, who was having knee or leg problems on the descent, and brought him safely into camp well after dark, long after everyone else had arrives.
I would feel very comfortable having Joshua as a guide on any mountain and your company should feel lucky to have him on your staff. Thanks.

I am passing through Amsterdam on my return from Tanzania and wanted to send a quick note letting you know I had the time of my life climbing Kilimanjaro. John and John are so wonderful. They became like family to me. They made everything so entirely wonderful and I couldn't be more pleased with how everything worked out. Thank you again so much for all your help in making my experience so special! Take Care!
Wendy Gustin: 03 October 2007

The trip went well. Many thanks to all your help in organising and co-ordinating. It has been most appreciated.
Sudi Narasimhan: 20 September 2007

A Huge thank you to you and your team for the excellent support and guidance whilst we were on the mountain. These really ensured that we were able to successfully summit and experience the mountain without any problems. The weather was fantastic and I could not imagine having to put up with rain during the climb. Our guide, Prosper, was excellent and took interest in us and our needs and was very concerned with Lindi's condition as she had a cough when we started and he gave her additional medication that really sorted the problem out before the final summit. His knowledge of the mountain, the flora and fauna is exceptional and clearly his experience as a ranger has stood him in good stead.
The food was of a high standard and our cook (Magesa) or should we now call him "chef" did a sterling job. The variety of foods prepared with minimal equipment and space to work was exceptional.
I will return to climb Kili again hopefully next year and many of my friends and colleagues have requested me to put together another trip or to refer them. I will be better prepared (not that we failed in our preparation) next time and would like to use your company and hopefully the same crew again.
Neil Plumbly: 13 September 2007

We just returned to the Stated from our trip to Africa. We had a splendid time and I would like to thank you for organizing all and for the choices you made. I think it was the best decision to climb Kili first and then go onto safari. The team was outstanding on the mountain. I have been trekking all over the world and never had such as great experience. Sifuel Godwin Mishy's (lead guide) personality, confidence and customer care are far beyond what I have experienced before. I also had the chance to talk to other trekkers on the mountain and nobody received the attention we got from him and his assistant guide Frank Leonard. I hope you will find other clients to work with them.
We are looking forward working with your office in the near future and have already passed your website on to others that are planning trips to Africa.
