Lisa Friedman & Tammy Friedman (South Africa) – Successful summit attempt on 1 Jan 2015(Superior package – 6 Day Marangu route)
What an amazing time!! Our every need was seen to from the moment that we landed to the moment that we left. The hotel where we spent the first and final nights was clean, the food was great and the service was amazing.
However, I must reserve the largest part of my praise for David and our other guide (I am so frustrated as I always remember his name and have just hit a blank) and every single one of the people who assisted us to the top by either cooking for us, carrying water for us to wash in or transporting our bags up that mountain. Our successful summit was turned into a wondrous journey with the guides regaling us with stories of other summit attempts, the ever-changing vegetation and animals and continual words of encouragement. The food was magnificent….I had made all these pre-packed snack parcels for every day but barely ended up touching them as we were always being fed by a smiling chef. Our porters were unbelievable : dignified men carrying these huge loads and giving us support every step of the way.
This trip was something that I will never forget and has inspired me to do Everest Base Camp next.
Nikki, a big thank you to everyone and to you as well : everything went so smoothly and I know that it was due to your organization! Thank you also for keeping my husband updated every step of the way.

Overall, we had a fantastic trip! Everything went off without a hitch and according to plan.
Our safari guide was a real joy to be with each day, and worked so hard to make our trip a memorable one.
The hike up Kilimanjaro was also excellent. Our team of guides and porters made the trip one that we’ll never forget.
Thank-you so much for arranging such a memorable experience!
Katerina Bartashevich (Belarus) and Simona Florio (Italy) – Successful summit attempt on 1 January 2015 (Superior package – 7 Day Machame route)
Climbing Kilimanjaro has been an amazing and unforgettable adventure, but it has also been one of the hardest thing we have ever done. Having said that, we could not have asked for better guides/cook/porters/weather. The guys were awesome!
It was nice and interesting to test ourselves and we were pleasantly surprised to see ho much we can push ourselves – both physically and mentally. The pole pole strategy helped us a lot and it has become our life strategy ever since. Hakuna Matata and pole pole… and you can reach the top! It’s an experience that we would definitely suggest to our friends.
You will find here attached one of our photos on top of kilimanjaro.

Thanks for facilitating this trip for us. Although summit day can get a bit rough it is a very satisfying accomplishment once you back down the mountain!!
From my side – enjoyed the trip immensely.
All in all, comparing the costs to some of the other trips, I would say in relation I feel we got good ‘bang for our buck’ so to speak.
Salim, the head guide was pretty cool and looked after us fairly well!
Alessandro Ordine (Italy) – Successful summit attempt on 1 January 2015(Superior package – 7 day Machame route)
first of all thank you!
The trip was amazing and the local team (Harold, Tammy, Jackson and all the guys) were really professional.
Definetely no bad feedback.
I can highly (!!!) recommend this company to anyone who plans to climb the Kilimanjaro.
Tetsuji conquered Mount Kilimanjaro in only 2 days!
A big congratulations to Tetsuji, who started climbing Kilimanjaro on 26 December 2014 and commenced his summit attempt by midnight of the 27th. At sunrise of the 28th, he successfully reached Uhuru Peak, before he proceeded to descend all the way to Marangu gate!
Tetsuji is a keen athlete, who ran and finished the Zugspitze Ultra Trail 100 km Race in 17 hours during June 2014, as well as the Eiger Ultra Trail 101 km Race in 19 hours during July 2014. He also climbed up to the summit of Mont-Blanc in September 2014.
Tetsuji’s Kilimanjaro feedback:
In total, it was a superb, once in a lifetime experience for me.
Thank you very much for your arrangement and take care!
Good day Nikki
Over all I had a very good experience. We had a good guide, good team, food was great. I would recommend our guide / whole team to other climbers.
Thanks for arranging our trip. It was a great experience and I would recommend people to make you of your services.
Alicia & Riaan Rall (South Africa) – Successfull summit attempt on 25 Dec 2014(Standard package – 7 day Machame route)
What an amazing trip! We had an awesome time and everything was perfect. The guide and porters were excellent and very entertaining. Some days were harder than others but that is part of the experience and that makes for some really awesome stories! Met some amazing people during our trip including Jacques & Andre who entertained us with some of their crazy stories from their trip! 😉
I would definitely recommend Climbing Kilimanjaro to anyone interested in doing a trip like this!
Again thanks Nikki for all your hard work and great service.
All the Best!

I’m back in Durban, (with all hands and legs as instructed by my wife!) and want to send my heartfelt thanks to you for the great service once again.
My trip was awesome! In particular, the night of the summit was EPIC! Thanks for arranging the extra day on the mountain because summit would have been difficult if I did not camp at Karanga.
My guide, Omari, was well informed and kept me entertained throughout the trip. The Chef, Chiddi, did a brilliant job – every meal was more than filling. The whole crew was great
Fortunately I did not experience any major headaches or any AMS. Overall a very positive experience on the mountain.
Off the mountain, the hotel was good.
Once again, thanks for the great service!
So sorry for the slow reply! The trip was amazing! The weather was great, the guides were great, the porters were awesome, and the cooks were excellent as well. I really felt they went beyond my expectations. We were the only group we saw that got three hot meals per day which was a very nice perk. The summit day was difficult but the guides were very encouraging and did a great job of leading us up. Transport to and from the mountain was reliable and on time. I rented a sleeping bag which was more than sufficient in the cold. I can’t think of anything negative to say, it was really great all around.
Sal Salinero was very impressive and I enjoyed my stay there and enjoyed talking to the people leaving/going to the mountain as well. The staff was very friendly and kept the bag I left safe while I was on the mountain.
